Descripción
Huehuetán is an Afro-descendant municipality, declared as such on July, 31 of 2021, in a rebirth party led by Leticia Javier Marín, who in turn was inspired by President Andrés Manuel López Obrador and the Governor-elect Evelyn Salgado.
As a history fan and representative of my people, I reaffirm in this book my position on Huehuetán, its history, and its problems.
Corruption is Mexico’s main problem, and because of it, I call on all Mexicans, women and men, rich and poor, rural and urban dwellers, religious and free thinkers, to build a national agreement and make honesty a way of life and government.
In this book I explain how the country has been plundered and how neoliberal or “neoporfirist” policies have led to profound inequality, greater poverty, frustration, abandonment, hatred, and violence. I not only condemn corruption and call for its complete eradication, but I also propose a new policy and new economic management, as well as a strategy and specific projects, including the strengthening of cultural (our dances, so important), moral, and spiritual values to halt the decadence and achieve the rebirth of the municipality of Huehuetán.
This is a homage, a guide, and a way to leave a testimony of our history, of the struggle and greatness of Huehuetán.
